October 22: Tending the Last Stretch

Mawnin', fam. 🌔
Di moon is waxing gibbous tonight, 86% lit and almost full. Full moon come Sunday night, so we're in di last stretch now. Like breadfruit swelling on di tree, it don't need nobody to push it, it just need time and a little tending. Whatever you been nurturing, no need to rush it now. Just keep showing up for it.
Today's Jamaica Pulse Practice
Put a hand on your belly and breathe in for four, slow, like di tide coming up di shore at Hellshire. Hold for two. Then let it out for six, like di wave pulling back to sea. Do it five rounds, morning and before bed.
Tonight, step outside and look for di moon. Name one thing you've been tending this month, and tell yourself, "Mi nah rush it. Mi a tend it."
Today's Affirmation
I am happy with how far I've come. I am healthy as I care for what's still growing. I am wealthy in patience. And I am strong right through the final stretch.
